Surrey Parent Partnership:
- Information, Advice and Support Service for parents/carers and young people
- Provides confidential, impartial and independent information, advice and support to young people and parents/carers of children and with special educational needs and or a disability(SEND) 0 to 25 years.
Supports at all stages of a child's school life from pre-school through to school leaving age.
Supports parents/carers of young people and young people aged up to 25 with learning difficulties and/or disabilities
Enables parents/carers and young people to play an informed part in any decisions about their or their child's educational provision
- If you require someone to accompany you to a meeting or help with paperwork, we may be able to provide an Independent parental Supporter (IPS) to support you. All IPSs support the service voluntarily and have other commitments, therefore we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide this service.
Some of the information is specific to Surrey. If you do not live in Surrey you can contact your own local authority who should be able to give you details of your own local parent partnership service.
